My name is Ray Carter, and as a visual artist, I value creative freedom over labels. Rather than defining myself by a single medium, I embrace the ability to work instinctively with any material, allowing ideas, emotions, and lived experiences to guide the outcome.

My work is inspired by life itself; personal moments, emotional states, and spontaneous thought. Each piece reflects a specific moment in time, serving as a response to an experience, feeling, or question. For me, the most rewarding part of creating is growth. Every work becomes a lesson, offering insight that is technical, personal, or both.

Through an open and exploratory process, my practice remains fluid, honest, and continually evolving.
